What are FODMAPs?

Since the discovery of FODMAPs, clinicians and medical researchers came up with the low-FODMAP diet as the best solution for FODMAP intolerance.
Problems with the low FODMAP diet are:

  • leads to eating disorders
  • leads to nutritional deficiencies
We are developing enzymes, similar to Lactaid for dairy products, but for FODMAPs. Starting with the FODMAP fructan, present in garlic, onion, wheat, banana among many (many) other foods.
